Laura Cardoso is a Scientific Project Manager at the Translational Research Program, where she supports a variety of projects. Laura holds a BSc. degree in Pharmacy and her passion for drug discovery led her to a PhD in Organic Chemistry with focus on Medicinal Chemistry. After 10 years doing research in France and Brazil, she pivoted her career to the managerial side of the drug discovery process. Having project manager experience in Academia and Industry, Laura understands both worlds and can translate the communication between them. Laura is involved on small molecules projects funded by different grants and assists the Drug Discovery Sciences Core (DDSC), the scientific branch of The Therapeutics Initiative.
