Suzanne is a scientific project manager in The Therapeutics Initiative and Drug Discovery Service Core where she enjoys working with a wide variety of PIs and projects. Suzanne earned her Ph.D. in Biochemistry at Vanderbilt University in the lab of Jennifer Pietenpol.  Her dissertation focused on the kinetics of the p53 transcription factor binding DNA.  She went on to do post-doctoral studies jointly at the Johns Hopkins Medical School and the NCBI where she analyzed L1 sequences in the human genome sequence.  She joined The Therapeutics Initiative after working for 19 years at Biogen where she held positions in the R&D Translational Medicine group. In her free time, Suzanne enjoys fitness activities, gardening, and reading novels.
